A calligraphy rendition of the Japanese translation of the William Blake poem ウイリアム ブレイクの詩

This is a calligraphic rendition of the Japanese translation of the William Blake poem, ‘Infant Joy,’ with the translation composed by Shinjiro Kurahara. I originally created this piece as part of a lesson hosted by Tsuda University Alumnae committee, which was centered around the theme of Japanese translations of English poetry, but I couldn’t attend the lecture because I became sick on that day.
I selected this poem to celebrate the birth of my granddaughter who was born in January.
Please take a look at the pictures of my calligraphy, of my granddaughter from when we took her to receive blessings at the shrine, and the invitation of calligraphy exhibition that I regularly attend.
