The third student was my friend from college, Michiko Okubo, who is an assistant director at Musashino Higashi Center for Education and Research. It is famous for inclusive education for autistic children.

She thinks inkless tablet calligraphy is easier to deal with than using ink. She thinks it would also be good to use in a workshop for graduated students when they gather. Almost all of them already have iPads and some have Apple Pencils.

First, she practiced the fundamental strokes with the character 永 ‘ei’ meaning forever. Next, she practiced writing ‘感謝’ meaning gratitude from the elementary school textbook. After that, I corrected it in red.
