Mainichi Calligraphy Exhibition 毎日書道展

When in the shadow of the mountain, the sound of water dripping from the rocks can be heard pure and cool along with the chirping of the clear-toned cicadas. Everything feels like fall, one cannot believe it is still summer.

夏なつのほかなるひぐらしの声こえ
慈円じえん

この山陰やまかげにいると岩いわを漏もれ落おちる清水しみずの音おとも冷つめたく澄すんで聞きこえ、また夏なつとも思おもえぬ蜩せみの鳴なき声ごえまでが聞きこえてくる
